Bedrock's Bounty

Onyx is composed of a endless theme of colors and patterns interwoven into a visual fantasy of delight. It is the result of the cold water depostion of calcium carbonate saturated with iron in the oxidized (red) and (green) reduced state. Mined in the Himalayas and then turned on a lathe into various shapes by skilled artisans in Pakistan.

Each piece contains beautiful striations of rust, sunburst, citrus, celery and other wonderful hues in this color range.

Remember the stone has been carefully polished and can not be placed in the dishwasher or microwave. Dry foods recomended any thing acidic will erode the finish. Wine glasses will just dull on the inside only when used. Vases may be used for flowers.

 Himalayan Salt Lamps & Candle Holders

Mined from the underground salt mines in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains these lamps and candle holders are made of natural crystalized salt. This crystal salt is hundreds of million years old. As a result it contains a high mineral content and special properties. Heat from the bulb (lamps) or flame (candles) causes the salt to emit negative ions.

These negative ions bond with the pollutants in the air and neutralize them. The newly bonded ions as a result become heavier and fall to the ground removing them from the air.
